Although it is fairly simple in making jelly, but if not careful, it can display jelly so it is runny and not fresh. This is because gelatin is usually served as a dessert so that its watery texture makes the jelly soft. Well, follow how to make jelly so it doesn’t runny quickly as below.

– Reduce the dose of water. If you find an instant gelatin recipe using a 500 ml water dose, try reducing it to 400 ml. This step is done so that the gelatinous texture remains thick when served.

– Make jelly within 3 hours. Make sure the jelly you make is in a state fresh. So you better make it for about 3 hours, not too fast or too long.

– Let the gelatin cool by itself. When the gelatin cooking process is complete, don’t cool it directly in the refrigerator. The condition of jelly which is still hot will be better if you want it on your own. Putting freshly ground jelly in the refrigerator will make the surface runny due to sudden temperature changes.

– Avoid closing the newly cooked agar with a lid. Let the gelatin cool itself by itself for several minutes after the cooking process. Only when it has been cooled at room temperature for 10 minutes can you put the lid or put it in the refrigerator.

– Don’t keep gelatin in the refrigerator for too long. It is better to make jelly according to the desired portion so that it can be consumed in a day. Try not to store jelly overnight because the conditions must be watery and lacking fresh. Keep gelatin in the refrigerator for only 3 hours so that the presentation still feels fresh.

1. Coconut sugar jelly

Material:

– 2 packs of jelly swallow (plain)

– 250 grams of brown sugar

– 5 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 1 packet of vanilla powder

– 2 pandan leaves

– ¼ teaspoon salt

– 2 packs of instant coconut milk (Kara brand)

– 1 liter of water

How to make:

1. Prepare 200 ml of water and mix with brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla powder, salt and pandan leaves.

2. Cook until the sugar has dissolved and boiled.

3. After boiling, remove and strain.

4. Cook the sugar filter with 800 ml of water, agar plain swallow, and coconut milk until it boils. Don’t forget to keep stirring slowly.

5. Put it in a mold then cool it at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.

6. Can be served immediately or refrigerate.

2. Pandan agar

Material:

(Green pudding)

– 1 packet of white jelly

– 65 ml thick coconut milk

– 700 ml of water

– 5 pieces of suji leaves

– 5 pandan leaves

– 200 gr sugar

– ¼ teaspoon salt

(White pudding)

– 1 packet of white jelly

– 700 ml of fresh milk

– 200 gr sugar

– ½ teaspoon vanilla

How to make:

1. (To make green jelly)

– Blend suji leaves and pandan with 700 ml of water

– Strain and take the water

– Cook suji leaf filter water with gelatin, sugar, coconut milk and salt. Cook while stirring slowly until it boils.

2. (To make white jelly)

Mix all the ingredients of white pudding, cook while stirring gently until it boils.

3. Prepare the pudding mold

4. Take a few spoonfuls of green pudding mixture, pour in the pudding mold with a distance of 3-5 cm. Allow to cool and harden.

5. Continue with white pudding with the same steps as before.

3. Fruit jelly

Material:

(Milk pudding)

– 1 packet of jelly plain swallow

– 1 can of sweetened condensed milk

– 1300 ml of water

– 1 kiwi fruit (cut into small pieces)

– Grapes to taste (split into 2)

– Papaya to taste (shape cocktail)

– Citrus syrup to taste

(Upper layer)

– ½ packet jelly plain swallow

– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 200 ml of water

How to make:

1. Mix all ingredients of milk pudding (except fruits) and cook until boiling. Don’t forget to stir slowly.

2. Mix and cook the top layer ingredients to a boil.

3. Pour milk pudding inside cup leaving 1-2 cm for the top layer of pudding dough along with fruits.

4. After the mixture has cooled, put it in the refrigerator for up to 15 minutes.

5. Mix the top layer pudding with syrup orange along with fruits.

6. After the pudding mixture has hardened, remove it from the refrigerator then pour the top layer of pudding.

4. 3-layer biscuit jelly

Material:

(Clear layer + biscuits)

– 1 pack of Marie Regal

– 1 packet of jelly plain swallow

– 6 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 650 ml of water

(Yellow coating)

– 1 packet of jelly plain swallow

– 5 egg yolks

– ½ can of white sweetened condensed milk

– 3 tsp rum or vanilla essence

– 100 gr butter melted

– 500 ml of water

– 6 tablespoons granulated sugar

(Layer chocolate)

– 1 packet of jelly swallow chocolate flavor

– 650 ml of water

– 3sdm cocoa powder

– 9 tablespoons granulated sugar

How to make:

1. Place the marie regal biscuits evenly on the pudding mold

2. Cook the clear layer until it boils, stirring gently. Then pour into a pudding mold on top of the biscuits.

3. (To make a yellow coating)

– Mix sweet, thick, sweet egg yolks, melted butter, and rum / vanilla essence

– Boil jelly plainsugar, water to boil

– Mix the newly cooked jelly mixture into the beaten egg yolk mixture then boil until boiling

– Pour over layers of clear and biscuits

4. (For making chocolate layers)

Boil all the chocolate coating ingredients to a boil and then pour over the yellow layer.

5. Let stand at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes then chill in the refrigerator.

5. Orange jelly

Material:

– ½ packet jelly plain swallow

– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 6 tablespoons of lime juice

– 2 egg whites, beat until stiff

– 3 mandarin oranges

How to make:

1. Cook jelly plain with sugar and water. Stir gently until it boils.

2. Squeeze the mandarin oranges and then pour it on the gelatinous stew.

3. After boiling, immediately lift then add the beaten egg whites and stir with mixer.

4. Pour into small molds.

6. Moss agar

Material:

(Moss green coating)

– 1 packet of white jelly

– 100 grams of granulated sugar

– 125 ml thick coconut milk

– 625 ml of water

– 100 ml of pandan juice (a filter of 20 pieces of pandan leaves with 100 ml of water that has beenblender)

– ¼ teaspoon salt

– 1 egg

(Milk custard layer)

– 1 packet of white jelly

– 800 ml of fresh liquid milk

– 100 grams of granulated sugar

– ¼ teaspoon salt

How to make:

1. Cook the moss green coating material to a boil over medium heat. Don’t forget to stir slowly.

2. After boiling, reduce heat to form a moss by itself.

3. Place it into a gelatin mold and let it sit at room temperature.

4. Cook the mixture of milk pudding ingredients, stir gently until it boils.

5. Pour over the moss green layer then let stand for 15 minutes at room temperature

6. Chill in the refrigerator for 3 hours and serve cold.

7. Rainbow jelly

Material:

(Clear material)

– 1 packet of jelly plain

– 800 ml of boiled water

– 150 grams of granulated sugar

– 6 pasta or rainbow coloring

(Milk ingredients)

– 1 packet of jelly plain

– 800 ml of liquid milk

-150 grams of granulated sugar

– 6 pasta or rainbow coloring

How to make:

1. Cook clear ingredients, stir gently until it boils.

2. Enter the milk until the edges of the pot are bubbly but do not boil because the milk will break.

3. Divide the pudding mixture into 6 parts, give a rainbow coloring (130 ml for each color)

4. For the clear layer, take 130 ml mixture then add red coloring and put it in the mold, wait until it hardens.

5. Pour 130 ml layer of milk then add red coloring on the clear layer, then continue the next step with another rainbow coloring.

6. After all the layers have been placed in the mold, let stand at room temperature for 10-15 minutes then cool in the refrigerator.
